2010 Redfish Lake Corrals Trailrides

Trailrides of one day, half day, 1 1/2 hour or 1 hour.

One hour, one and a half hour, and half day horseback rides are a great way for many travelers to access the backcountry when time does not allow for a longer trip. Spectacular views, high mountain meadows, safe mountain horses, and friendly, helpful guides make these rides a highlight of your vacation.

One Hour Loop Ride
Get a taste of the west with this one hour trailride thought the lodgepole pines. Nice views of Redfish Lake and Sawtooth Peaks. Rides begin at 9:00am, 11:00pm, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm daily.
$35.00 +tax/person
6-12 years old $30.00 +tax/child

Description
Enjoy an hour of horseback riding through mountain meadows, lodgepole pine forests, and morainal ridges. These ridges take place between just north of Little Redfish Lake and Fishhook Creek. This is a great area for viewing the wildflowers against the Sawtooth Peaks.

One and One-half Hour Ridge Tour

Scenic overview of Big and Little Redfish Lakes. Tours begin at 9:00, 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00 daily.

Alpine Lake Ride

Breakfast at the lodge, boat ride across lake, horse ride to Alpine Lake, box lunch, then return to lodge for dinner. $180.00 + tax per person. Minimum of six people.

 

All Day Rides

To Alice, Sawtooth, Marshall or Hell Roaring Lakes. 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Lunch included. $110.00 + tax per person. Minimum of four people. With this trip, you have time to enjoy the mountains, fish and relax by the high mountain lakes. All lakes are within the wilderness boundary. Please call for length of ride, ability level required, and scenic highlights.

NOTE:  We do not allow double riding, children must be 6 years old to ride and maximum weight is 250 pounds.

Overnight at the Head of Redfish Lake

A fun, weekend get away! This trip is ideal for groups that have a few folks that would prefer not to ride or may not be 6 years old yet. We provide all of your gear, set up camp, and even prepare your meals, just bring clothing and a toothbrush! Riders will depart from Redfish Corrals and enjoy a scenic ride along Redfish Lake. Non-riders experience taking a boat ride across the lake directly to their camp sight! Enjoy a back country experience that accommodates everyone! Cost: $300.00 per person plus tax. Minimum 4 persons to start a trip.

Our friendly guides will assist you in making this ride a highlight of your vacation. They know the history of the area and point out areas of interest along the way.

You will ride through towering evergreens, along historic mining and logging trails in the Galena area.

Galena Lodge is nearby for refreshments and meals, before and after your ride.

Wagon Rides
Along Senate Meadows to Historic smelter site (1 hr.)

$250.00/hour + tax (1 hour minimum)
$60.00 each addition 15 minutes after 1st hour

Wagon Ride & Dinner
Dinner at Galena Lodge and a wagon ride along scenic Gladiator or Senate Meadows
Every Thursday evening June 27 - Labor Day from Galena Lodge located 23 miles north of Ketchum on Highway 75.
