Mystic Saddle Ranch has been offering quality wilderness since 1969. Owners Jeff & Deb Bitton bought the business from Jeff’s folks when we

married in 1980. We raised our two children here and have loved every minute of our time in the mountains and making memories for our guests.

Mystic Saddle Ranch offers many  horse related activities.  Stanley Idaho is the jumping off spot for our multi-day horse pack trips into the Sawtooth

Wilderness and the Frank Church  River of No Return Wilderness. These trips vary in length from 1 to 16 days.  We are a custom company and pride

ourselves on making the trip fit the group wants and desires. Hiking with packstock, base camps, moving camps, short trips,

long trips, fully cateredand drop camps are a few of the trips we offer.

Fly fishing trips on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River are becoming ever more popular. Fish this outstanding river for native

Cutthroat and Rainbow trout. Fishing in this area is catch and release for Cutthroat Trout to insure the continuance of this high quality

fishing experience. Fish, relax and   enjoy this special  Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness area.

Our shorter rides of 1 hour, 1.5 hour, half day and all day horseback trail rides are offered at Redfish  Lake Corrals at Redfish Lake  and

Galena Stage Stop Corrals just 23 miles North of  Sun Valley. These horse trail rides in Stanley and Sun Valley area offer great views, gentle

horses and some wonderful memories for those who don’t have time to do our longer horsepack wilderness backcountry  trips.

The Sawtooth Wilderness lies in the high country of Central Idaho, an hour's drive from Sun Valley. This is a wilderness of spectacular

beauty, where granite mountains reach up to touch clear, azure skies are reflected back  in gem-blue lakes. The three hundred miles of trail l

ead you through glacial valleys, alpine meadows and snow-fed streams.
